About the Authors

James Cusdin
jamesI have been working in the Telecoms industry directly for the last 9 years and indirectly for more than a decade. In that time I have worked for a global operator, a network system integrator and currently work for a telecom expense management company. Prior to working directly in the industry I supplied the industry with contract and permanent staff as a recruiter. From these varied perspectives I have been able to develop a comprehensive network of information sources which contribute towards forming a robust understanding of the industry as a whole.

I am a father of one (daughter) and married. We live as expats in Amsterdam where I have lived and worked for 18 years. Personal time is mainly spent cooking, socializing, reading and (watching) sports.

Jaco van Rooijen
jacoJaco holds bachelor and master’s degrees in Electrotechnical engineering from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.  This eternal student reads up on a very wide range of slightly technical topics and then attempts to dilute the essence of each topic to a human readable format.

A born and bred South African, he now lives in the Netherlands with his wife and three children. He seems to live by the motto “Instant human, just add coffee.”
